Types Nonionic Surfactant

Specifications 

GL-1005、1004、1005、1006、1007、1008、1009 are cloudy liquids at 23 °C, which tend to form a sediment. They become clear at 50 °C. 1010 and 1014 are soft, slightly pastes. Since this series of products are polyoxyethylene ether surfactants of fatty acid alcohols, they have the basic characteristics of the usual such nonionic surfactants.

Applications

The GL-10 range is a nonionic surfactant whose application is based primarily on the properties of nonionic surfactants such as cleaning, wetting, emulsifying, etc. They can be used with anionic, cationic, nonionic surfactants and other excipients. The main applications include:

1. Cleaning agent: used in cleaning formula, including household cleaning agent, neutral water-based cleaning agent, neutral metal cleaning agent, alkaline water-based cleaning agent, acid cleaning agent, disinfectant, oil-based cleaning agent, etc.

2. Emulsifier: used in oil-based cleaners to emulsify hydrocarbons and kerosene hydrocarbons.

3. Dispersant: used in the cleaning formulation to disperse solids resulting from precipitation, agglomeration or other chemical reactions, either alone or in combination with a protective colloid. It is usually better combined with the Sokalan series of dispersants.

4. Wetting agent: GL-10 series is a very effective wetting agent. They can be used in a variety of homogenization, mixed impregnation and surface treatment processes.

5. Other applications: GL-10 series products are also used in many applications in paper, leather, paint and building materials.
