Properties

It is soluble in ethanol and ether. Sensitive to air. The solution can be oxidized to 3,4-dimethoxybenzoic acid under the influence of light. It has the fragrance of vanilla fruit and sweet taste.

Applications

Pharmaceutical & flavor intermediate, for the manufacturing of L-Methyldopa and L-Dopa, also used in the production of sulfa veterinary drugs Diverdine(DVD) , Also commonly used in electroplating and flavor, as well as Veratrum acid synthesis products.

Packing and Storage

25KGS fibre drum or according to customer requirements. Stored in a cool and dark place. Storage period is two years. Transport by non-dangerous goods.
